With the application "Spacerownik Teatralny" you can go for a walk, in various Polish cities, on one of the many walking routes designed, among others, by artists and theatrologists. You can also create your own original walking route enabling increased knowledge about the history of Polish theatre and its reference to the local history.After choosing the city and your thematic route, or one of the suggested places connected with the theatre, the navigation system will be initiated and guide you along the chosen route. When reaching each point of the walking route you will be provided with information associated with this specific site, in some places audio and video materials will be also available.
With this application you can also design your own walking route. Depending on your free time or place, to which you are heading, the application will show the theatrical spots located nearby. It is also possible to design your own walking route from selected points located not only in a chosen city, but also from a variety of locations included in this application.
Creating your own account allows saving your favorite walking routes, both those already created, as well as individually designed by the user. It allows you to save walking routes, specific locations, as well as sharing your walking routes with friends on Facebook.
Attractive and unconventional form of the suggested walking routes aims to encourage the user to explore the city and learn about the theatrical past and history associated with different places. The application created within the frames of the project "Spacerownik Teatralny" helps in locating in the urban architecture places once very important for the theatre, yet today often forgotten. The aim of the application is to draw the attention of residents and tourists to these places.
